Entry is online only with our media partner TrailRunning.co.uk and includes a half hour cruise with entertainment aboard the Ullswater Steamer "Raven", a hot Wilf's meal with tea and coffee at the finish, a digital race photo memento of yourself on the course by professional sports photograher James Kirby and online entry administration fee. Entries are now closed for all senior events (18/10/08). Each event will set off approximately half an hour after the Steamer departure time (ie 9am sailing - start 9.30am)

Ullswater Fun Trails (under 8's, under 10's & under 12's)
We are expecting demand to be high for such a unique event, so please enter early to ensure your entry is accepted.
The starts for each sailing will take place within minutes of the Ullswater Steamer arriving at Howtown. The cruise lasts approximately 30 minutes, so the starts will be at 09.30, 10.30 and 11.30. Results for the Trail Race will include both 10am and 11am sailings for the fastest times for the prize winners and for the final results.
An alternative course will be used, should the weather conditions prevent the Ullswater Steamers from sailing.
There is an age limit of 16 for the senior 12km events.
Cancellation, Transfers & Refund Policy
In the event of an entry cancellation, a refund, less an administration fee of £5 will be given to entrants informing us in writing of their entry cancellation at least 4 weeks before the date of the event. No refunds will be given with less than 4 weeks to go before the event.
Free transfers of individual entries are permitted between events on the same day – ie from the Trail Race to the Challenge, will be permitted providing we are informed in writing at least 10 days before the event.
Transfers of race numbers to another individual will be permitted on payment of an administration fee of £3. Competitors using this service are requested to let us know in writing well in advance, as start lists and number allocations are prepared 4 weeks before the event. Competitors using someone else’s number without informing us beforehand can have serious consequences in the event of a medical emergency. The accuracy of the race results is also affected when competitors are placed in the wrong event, age or sex category. Any competitor using someone else’s number will be disqualified.
Duplicate entries made in genuine error will be refunded in full.
No refunds will be given if the event is forced to be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, for instance by order of the Government or landowners due to Foot and Mouth disease.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel entry applications, or alter the date of the event, the course route or the distance.
